Welcome to my 2020 review and intentions for 2021! I have been blessed beyond belief this year, and I am excited to ride the flow into 2021. 2020 was the first year School of Life Design went in the black. My wife and I survived 9 months of pandemic. My kitties are alive and well. My family and friends are alive and well. I maintained my fitness routine and weightloss. I am more focused than ever. I filled an entire book with miracles. We published our best journal yet. We visited Illinois in the summer and went camping in September. I'm in the middle of a deep dive into the Gateway Experience Hemi-sync tapes. We upgraded to a color laser printer, I got a medical marijuana card, and we're able to afford regular grocery delivery. I started a successful 0nlyfans account and have so much fun with it.
To celebrate this tumultuous, exciting, and restful year, I've answered selected prompts from Soul Communion 2020 by Tasha Nassar and Monique Mitchell. I found Tasha on Twitter a while ago and her tweets are uplifting and inspiring, and I had fun with her workbook. I love having closure at the end of a year and a focus for the new one. What were you most grateful for in 2020?
Kelly, my kitties, my home, my health. My friends and family. Unemployment, grants, grocery delivery, sobriety, medical MJ, ebooks, Les Mills On Demand, alien activity, hemi-sync tapes, Zooms with friends, tea, quitting kratom for real this time.
Where did you surprise yourself in 2020?
I am a natural alien conjurer.
What made you smile in 2020?
Our neighborhood, zooming with R, my meditation videos, kitties, the occasional adventure by car, Cleveland, hemi-sync focus 12, endless inside jokes w/ K.
What conclusions did you reach in 2020?
- Focus is the best use of energy: chanting, counting, conscious breathing.
- I truly can trust the process of life. And when all else fails, chant NMRK.
- I AM is my power.
- It's already perfect, wow!
How did you celebrate or acknowledge your accomplishments? (If you didn’t, how could you do this next time?)
Miracle collection zine. "Going to the movies." Camping. Renting a car and getting medical! Car rentals are a super fun way to celebrate.
List three challenges that you were tested with this year.
Pandemic. Website going down. Going unconscious.
How did you deal with the challenges? What new tools could help you in the future?
Meditating/going within/hemi-sync. Working out, walking. Chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. Thinking/feeling "Already perfect, wow!" Flipping the narrative with I AM. Saying yes to what is.
List three things that went really well for you this year. What are you most proud of?
- Our new Beyond Manifestation Journal is our best work!
- My meditation videos are better than ever and I really stuck to my schedule!
- We maintained our workout schedule the whole year, and I maintained last year's weightloss!
What skills helped you make it happen?
Investigating my resistance to working out (the answer from hemi-sync land: TAKE YOUR MEDICINE!). Setting deadlines and meeting with R to stay accountable for the journal. Religiously using Myfitnesspal. Focusing on presence. Watching my cravings/seeking/reaching for things outside of me to feel good.
How has your life changed in 2020?
Financially stable. School of Life Design pays our monthly expenses. Kratom free. Embracing pandemic. Ordering Whole Foods. Better friends with the mail carrier. Twice weekly zooms with our friend--see him more than ever. Onlyfans success!
