Being Present Is Fun! (transcript)
Breathe in and raise your vibration!
Breathe out and release your resistance!

Breathe in and raise your vibration!
Breathe out and release your resistance!

Relax your body.

Breathe in and lighten up because life is just for fun!
Breathe out and surrender your preferences.

Decide to stop caring about the outcome, and enter the present moment, where everything is fun and there’s nothing to worry about!

Breathe in and step into the present moment.
Breathe out and know your presence is your super power!

When you’re off in your head, caring about outcomes, caring about what people think, caring about money, you aren’t here. You aren’t present. Your awareness of all those things just perpetuates your lack of them.

Breathe in and decide to be present today.
Breathe out and smile because being present is fun! It’s a present!

In the present moment, everything is fun because it’s just you playing with life. It’s just you, aware that we are in this wild situation of reality. In the present moment, everything is fun because you get to play and you get to see the truth, which is love. When you see love, life is fun. When you’re in love, life is fun!

Breathe in and decide to fall in love with life again!
Breathe out and relax because you don’t have to quit doing anything.

You don’t have to change who you are. You don’t have to start some new regimen to fall in love with life. It’s just a switch, from in your mind lost in your thoughts, to in the present moment, where there are no thoughts.

In the present moment, you don’t think.

Breathe in and enter the present moment.
Breathe out and relax.

You made it! When you are present, you are successful because you are enjoying life. Isn’t that what we want success for, so we can enjoy life?

Breathe in and be present.
Breathe out and decide to enjoy life!

When you decide to enjoy life, you don’t have to change a thing. You don’t have to work out more. You don’t have eat differently. You don’t have to get up at dawn. You don’t have to quit your bad habits. When you decide to enjoy life, it means you’re ready to be present. That’s it and that’s all.

Breathing out I know I’m breathing out!

That’s one way to be present—to watch your breath. There’re all these little tricks to jar our consciousness out of our thoughts into the observer position. You can use mantras or affirmations, because they take your mind off of your worrying and put it on a singular focus. But still, when you’re using an affirmation, you’re thinking. And ideally, you let your thoughts go. And then you’re here.

Breathe in and just be here now.
Breathe out and just be here now.

But the mind wants to take over. And it will, until you’re practiced. So we need little tricks to remind ourselves to be present. We can use our breath like,

Breathing in I love myself!
Breathing out I don’t give a fuck!

Because our thoughts are creating our reality and the more you think, “I love myself,” and, “I don’t give a fuck,” the more it will be true! Or you can count silently or out loud and that keeps your attention off of your worries.

But truly, the goal is no goal. The goal is to let go of all goals and just exist and enjoy being.

Breathe in and just exist.
Breathe out and start feeling free!

Your thoughts are the only thing that can make you feel bad and in the present moment, there are no thoughts. So you feel good.

Breathing out I don’t give a fuck!

Let your breath take you into the present moment. You’ll know you’re there because you’ll feel playful. You’ll laugh. You’ll smile. You’ll feel relieved. You can get there with any method you want, but the end goal is to not have a method, it’s to just be.

Every time you say “I,” it takes you back into the thinking, so sometimes it’s easier to get present by just focusing on the breath:

Decide to play with life today by stepping outside of your thoughts into present moment where I promise you, everything is fun and there’s nothing to worry about. You don’t need to think about money or health or relationships or work when you’re in the present moment. When you let go of your awareness of those worries, those things work themselves out.
