Be Proud of Yourself! (transcript)

Breathe in and raise your vibration!
Breathe out and release your resistance!

Breathe in and raise your vibration!
Breathe out and release your resistance!

Welcome back to the present moment, where all of your power lies.

Breathe in and lighten up! Because life is not serious!
Breathe out and relax your body.

There’s nothing left to worry about. You made it! You’re here in the present moment! You are safe and protected from all harm.

Breathe in and celebrate how far you’ve come!
Breathe out and say, “I love myself!”

I love myself. I love myself.

Breathe in and smile! Life is just for fun!
Breathe out and feel better already.

Today I’ve got some excellent advice for you, if you want it:

Lately I’ve noticed myself feeling ashamed. Ashamed of what I’ve done with my life. Ashamed of what I haven’t done yet. Ashamed of my financial situation. Ashamed of what I look like. Ashamed of how I choose to spend my time. And I’ve also noticed that I constantly seek external validation, like I want my parents to say that they’re proud of me and I want the Internet to say that it loves me. I realized this shame and need for external validation are very connected. What I’ve realized is that what I really want and what would really be effective is to be proud of myself.

Breathe in and be proud of yourself!
Breathe out and feel empowered!

First you become it, then you see it. So I’ve been practicing saying, “I’m proud of myself. I’m so proud of myself.” I realized, I used to not even want to be proud of myself. I thought it was narcissistic or egotistical. But, as soon as I started saying, “I’m proud of myself,” I started doing things to be proud of!

Breathe in and say, “I’m proud of myself!”
Breathe out and feel proud of yourself!

All you have to do is choose to be proud of yourself and then you’ll start doing things that you’re proud of. It’s not egotistical. It’s self love. I started saying, “I’m proud of myself” and then I did my work. I said, “I’m proud of myself,” and then I worked out. I said, “I’m proud of myself,” and then I practiced counting instead of worrying. Just try saying, “I’m proud of myself,” as your mantra and then you’ll start doing things to be proud of. It’s like magic! It IS magick!

Breathe out and say, “I’m proud of myself!”

Breathing out I am so proud of myself!

Have you ever noticed a time when you’ve said that and meant it authentically, like you finished a project or you did something healthy and you just said nonchalantly, “I’m proud of myself for doing that.” Well you can just choose to be proud of yourself first and then you’ll do things to be proud of. It’s amazing! I feel like it’s what I’ve been looking for my whole life!

Breathing out I am so proud of myself!

It is not a bad thing to be proud of yourself. It is not a bad thing to take pride in what you do. It is not a bad thing to feel proud of yourself and then you don’t need it from other people! I don’t need my dad to tell me, “I’m proud of you!” I can tell it to myself!

Let this day be fun and easy for you! Decide to feel pride and then the things that you do to feel proud will come naturally. Just get in that feeling place of feeling proud of yourself and the rest will flow!

And I’m so proud of you! But you don’t need it because you’re proud of yourself!
