Now is the time to stop beating yourself up. It’s time to return to your natural state of feeling good, of being curious, of feeling in love.

Breathe in and say, “I love myself!”
Breathe out and say, “I love myself!”

In this world, we are trained to hate ourselves, we are trained to criticize ourselves. We are trained to see our flaws and cover them up. But what if you didn’t have any flaws? What if you could love yourself exactly the way you are without changing a thing?

Relax your body. Remember all of those things that you hate about yourself. What if you decided to love yourself for those things today?

I love that I am obsessed with taking pills. I love that I let my mood be dictated by a substance. I love that I’m anxious about going out in public. I love that I think I’m 20 pounds overweight. I love that I feel dread about my upcoming court date. I love that I refuse to go to the doctor. I love that I let myself be miserable. I love that I feel unfocused. I love that I don’t feel good enough. I love myself for not being perfect. I love myself for taking 9 days off of meditating. I love myself for letting myself get annoyed and irritated. I love myself for having taboo desires. I love myself for not feeling good enough. I love myself for not making enough money. I love myself for not feeling good enough. I love myself for not feeling good enough. I love myself for not feeling good enough. I love myself for not feeling good enough. I love myself for not feeling good enough!

All those things you wish you could change and then you’ll love yourself—FUCK THEM. Decide to love yourself now, before you change all those things you think you need to change.

You can love yourself without changing a thing. And then slowly those things you want to change will change themselves. They’ll fade out of your life. But when you think you need to change before you can love yourself, you will keep those things around you forever. Whatever you’re resisting about yourself will persist, so if I’m resisting being an addict, I’m going to keep being an addict.

Instead, today, I love myself for being an addict. I love myself for not taking the best care of myself I could. I love myself for slacking on my spiritual work. I love myself for craving. I love myself for not being good enough. I love myself for not being good enough. Instead of asking, “Why am I not good enough?” decide, “I love myself for not being good enough.”

In this moment, I am good enough. In this moment, I do love myself. In this moment, I am good enough. In this moment, YOU are good enough. In this moment, you love yourself. In this moment, everything is perfect and in its place. The threads are connecting. Life is working out for you.
