Focus one point and breathe was some graffiti on a bridge in Austin, Texas. I always wondered what it meant. What it means is, you can focus one of your senses like looking at one point or listening to one sound or feeling one sensation, and while consciously breathing, if you can keep your focus on that one point, the world falls away and is replaced with calm and joy, peace, relief. It feels like relief.

Decide to minimize your distractions today. As you go about your day, remember: Focus one point and breathe. Maybe this means that you’re not darting your eyes all around, trying to look at everything. Maybe it means you’re focused on one sound like my voice. Or maybe you’re silent counting in your head.

The mysteries of the universe are in that one point. The relief you’re seeking is in that one point.

Let life be easy today. You can let go of your frantic thoughts. You can let go of feeling like you need to pay attention to everything. So many things try to take your attention. But if you can focus one point and breathe, you are in control of your attention.

Now that you know what you want, focus your attention on a single point and breathe. This focus on a single point returns you to your natural state of feeling good. This focus on a single point will make you feel relieved to be alive. Relieved to be breathing.

When you can focus on a single point, when you can get rid of all other distractions, then what happens when you let go of that single point? You fall into the void! You become one with the mystery! If you practice focusing on a single point enough, you’ll know god! You’ll know the answer to the mystery.
