Whatever’s happening is how it’s supposed to be. Life is giving you exactly what you wanted. If you can step outside of your thoughts, you’ll be able to see, “I wanted this!”

As you go about your day, keep your mind and your thoughts off of this world. If you can enter a meditative state during your normal activities, you’ll feel so much better. And it’s all because you’re stepping away from your thoughts—the only thing that could ever make you feel bad.

Breathe out and transcend thought

Use these mantras to keep your attention in the now, to keep your distance from your thoughts.

If the mantras just aren’t doing it for you or it’s hard to keep your focus on them, try silent counting! Make it your goal to count to 10 or 100 or 10,000 today. I promise you you’ll feel so good, you’ll feel the best you’ve ever felt, because the silent counting gives you distance from your thoughts and your thoughts are the only thing that could ever make you feel bad.

You hold all the power. You are the creator. You get to decide what you think and therefore how you feel. You get to decide to step away from your thoughts, to STAND UP TO YOUR THOUGHTS. You are not a victim of your thoughts.
