Your power is not thinking and worrying and planning the next thing and rushing. Your power is here, right now, ready for you to step into it.

So how do you stay present? Well, you can use a mantra or you can focus on your breath. You can stare at one spot. You can follow your breath by focusing your attention on a point where you feel it the most. You can chant. You can tell yourself “Stop.” That silence is the present.

Breathe in and step into the present moment.
Breathe out and feel good about yourself.

You’re on the right path. You’ve come so far. You can relax now. That’s another way to be present—relaxing.

Breathe in and relax. Let your worries go!
Breathe out and relax. You don’t have to rush to the next place.

You can choose to enjoy this moment right here. That is your magick. That is your power. That’s how you get what you want—just feeling good right here right now. You can say to yourself, “I wanted this.” Or you can say to yourself, “This is it!” This is heaven. This is it. This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. This is the be all, end all. This moment here, this is all there is.

The more space you can make between yourself and your thoughts, the more present you will be.

Only your thoughts can make you feel bad.

If you want to create more space between you and your thoughts, you can go back to silent counting and count the space between thoughts—count the seconds between thoughts.

Only your resistant thoughts can make you feel bad. In the present moment there is no thought. How can you choose to feel good right now and let your thoughts go?

You are safe in this space without thoughts. You don’t NEED your thoughts.

Breathe out and let your thoughts go

Breathe in and notice what you’re thinking
Breathe out and say to yourself, “I’ve noticed that I’m thinking and that’s ok.”

Breathe in and be at peace with what is
Breathe out and feel calm

Your thoughts may still occur, but you can create space between you and them so they don’t take you down, so you don’t get tangled up in them. You can just watch them, at peace and present, being your reason for feeling good, right here right now.

Breathe out and say THANK YOU!

If you ever get confused about how to be present, if you ever wonder, “What technique should I use to be present? My breath, counting, a mantra?” Just remember, the most important thought you can have is, “I love myself.” If you want to go back to the present moment where all of your power lies, go back to the mantra of “I love myself.”

This powerful thought will calm you and soothe you and make you feel good about yourself and it will restore your health and put you in a good mood. And just by accident you’ll notice yourself in the present moment, feeling good, letting everything you want come to you, but not needing it because you chose to feel as good as you would if you had the thing you wanted in the first place.
