Daily Meditation – Get Excited to Be You

Ask yourself, “What thought matters more than ‘I love myself’?”

Breathe in and say “I love myself”

Imagine every time you had a negative thought, that you counter it with, “I love myself”.

You can let life be easy. You can be in the flow. When you’re in the flow, everything is fun and there’s nothing to worry about. When you’re in the flow, you’re in the present moment. All it means to be in the flow, is to not get caught up in your thoughts. Just let them go one by one. You can use the pivot thought of “I love myself.”

Relax. Imagine really what it feels like to love yourself. When you say it to yourself, can you actually feel it? Can you mean it?

Using this mantra throughout your day is like running on the best fuel, it’s like being free, it’s amazing! You’re never alone because you always have yourself.

To remind yourself to practice this mantra, just attach it to your breath. As you go about your day, think to yourself,

The more you practice saying this and actually feeling it, the more your reality will reflect it—the more your own behavior will reflect it without having to try. Say you know if you really loved yourself, you would exercise more or drink less or eat healthier. And you beat yourself up about it, just knowing that if you could just change, you would do these things. But when you say “I love myself” to yourself over and over and over, you start acting like you actually do love yourself and you start making decisions to take care of yourself, effortlessly. Because you practiced the feeling first then let your reality reflect your state of being.

Keep your attention on loving yourself, not on what annoys you about other people. Not on worrying about what other people are doing. It may feel selfish at first, but you're creating this buffer of love around yourself, allowing only love to come back in. You’re helping everyone in your reality by becoming love. You lead by your example.

If you can devote your energy to this one thought above all, your life will change slowly but surely. You’ll make the better choices. You’ll harm yourself less. You’ll have more fun, you’ll have better sex. You just have to choose it first. It’s so easy!

Let yourself feel like you really do love yourself. Even if you don’t, just pretend. Just imagine what it would feel like if you loved yourself.
