Tuesday Tips: 7 Minutes to Freedom

I didn't feel like writing any Tuesday Tips today because I felt tired and stressed. So I recorded this meditation and felt way better! Here's the gist: throw out your to do list and go have fun!

Welcome to the Now! Right now, empty your mind. Forget about everything you thought you had to do. Forget about everything that's on your mind. Make a list and one by one, let each thought go. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you check off your list. It doesn't matter if you do the things you think you need to do. You can choose to empty your mind and let life take care of your worries.

Breathe in and give the responsibility to life.
Breathe out and trust that life can handle it.

Life can meditate for you. Life can deal with your cat. Life can take care of the food. You don't have to do anything. Your only job is to be.

Breathe in and smile!
Breathe out and let go.

Let go of it all. Your whole list! Let it go. Rip it up, throw it out! Wouldn't you feel so much better if you weren't worrying about what you have to do?

Breathe in and be here now!
Breathe out and trust the process of life.

If you're tired, you're just tired from thinking too much. If you're stressed, you're just stressed from thinking too much. If you're worried, you're just worried because you're thinking too much. You can choose to let all of that go right now!

Breathe in and lift yourself up!
Breathe out and just be here now.

Choose to go in the direction of the fun. Choose to lighten up. Decide to look for what's exciting, instead of doing what you think you need to do. You don't have to DO anything! You really don't! You don't HAVE to do the things on your list! It's just your mind that makes you think you need to do these things and then you'll be a good person. But you already are a good person! You already are perfect, just the way you are right now.

Breathe in and decide to have fun!
Breathe out and let life take care of all that stuff you don't want to do!

It will work itself out. Bring yourself to this moment. Decide to focus on fun and enjoying life instead of trying and struggling and achieving and trying to check things off a list. As if it matters! It just doesn't matter.

Breathe in and feel free!
Breathe out and let go.

Let the list go. Let the list go. Let the list go. There's only right now. If you let your list go, the items will get checked off in their own time, accidentally in the flow. Life will bring you what you want if you can let go and trust.

Breathe out and decide to celebrate!

You're alive! If this was your last day on earth, you wouldn't worry about your list.

Let your thoughts go.Let your thoughts go. You can be that carefree person, that everyone's like, "How do they get away with it? How do they get away with not caring and everything just works out for them?!" Today that's you!

Just like life takes care of the animals and the plants and the earth, life takes care of you. Just get out of your own way. Let go of everything.

Don't worry about having to do. Just focus on enjoying being.
