Every day we meditate on a different passage, then take notes about the experience. Here is today's:
Day 1. God is lavish, unfailing Abundance, the rich omnipresent substance of the Universe. This all providing Source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me — the Reality of me.
We meditated for 10 minutes this afternoon, and while it was difficult for me to focus at first, I felt relieved to have something to contemplate during meditation. My mind doesn't necessarily like hearing "the truth" but eventually it calmed down.
The plan began working immediately. We had an EXCELLENT time at the gym, getting to talk with friends. Everyone was brimming with good news. We gave and received many compliments. When we returned home, we found we had received a $50 donation! Kelly found a dime on the floor of the laundry room. It's working, it's working!
Tonight we sat for 15 more minutes and I repeated each chunk of the passage over and over to the beat of the washing machine. "God is lavish, unfailing abundance. God is lavish, unfailing abundance. God is lavish, unfailing abundance." Repeating each phrase helped me better understand the message.
During Body Attack class at the gym, I hurt the middle of my back, running too hard without tightening my abs enough to protect my spine. Louise Hay says that middle back issues are about guilt. I've realized that much of my resistance to abundance is from feeling guilty--having more than others, not doing enough "work" to deserve it.
Today I am beginning to accept that I deserve abundance. I deserve lavish, unfailing Abundance. We all do. And it's ok for me to feel like I deserve it. I deserve lavish, unfailing Abundance. I deserve lavish, unfailing Abundance. I deserve to be an individualized Source of infinite prosperity.
I deserve to feel like I'm allowed to be abundant. I deserve to feel abundant! I deserve to receive!
When I write, "I deserve to receive," I can feel the immediate resistance. "Why should I? What did I do to deserve it??"
What I did to deserve it is that I came to physical reality to expand the universe. Just being here is all I need to do to deserve lavish, unfailing abundance. All of man's ideas about work and toil and effort are just that--ideas, not reality. The reality of me is that I am god--lavish, unfailing abundance, the all providing source of infinite prosperity, individualized as me.
I deserve prosperity. I deserve to enjoy my life, worry free. I deserve abundance from every direction. I deserve to feel good. I deserve to feel god. I deserve lavish, unfailing abundance. I deserve financial success. I deserve financial freedom. I deserve to receive.
I deserve to receive. I deserve to receive. I'm allowed to receive. I'm allowing myself to receive.
