notes on today’s 2.5 mile run

No map today. We ran this easy stretch of road outside my parents' house. We ran for about a mile, walked a bit, ran another mile, walked home. It felt INCREDIBLE. We've only been training for three days and already I can feel the difference in my breathing, my core strength, and my attitude. Running gets more exciting every day because you get better each and every run, if you keep up with the training schedule.

Yesterday Kel and I were feeling kinda mediocre because we watched TV for quite a few hours and ate some junky food like pita chips and capn crunch lol. But when we woke up today we realized all we needed to do was listen to a little Abraham and go for a run! Nothing gets you in the vortex like a run. The weather was so perfect, stormclouds mixed with sun.

I love running SO MUCH and I cannot express how happy I am to be training again. Taking the summer off really makes me appreciate starting back up again. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
